It’s Small Business Week! Here’s How Far We’ve Come (Thanks to You!)

It’s officially Small Business Week (May 4–10), and we’re feeling a little nostalgic, and a lot grateful. It’s the perfect time to look back at where we started, celebrate how far we’ve come, and shout out the amazing small business community that’s been with us every step of the way.

Wait… We’re Almost 7?!

Yep, come June 5, we’ll be celebrating 7 years in business, and honestly, that still blows our minds. When we started back in 2018 (check out that story here), we had a dream, a whole lot of hustle, and maybe a little bit of “we’ll figure it out as we go.” Fast forward to today, and we’ve grown in ways we couldn’t have imagined: new products, more team members, better systems, and a community that makes it all worthwhile.

We’ve also had the chance to level up through SAFe and OKR coaching opportunities, and we're especially proud of our growing Salesforce Partnership, which has opened new doors and sharpened our skills even more.

There’s been plenty of trial and error (hello, late nights and caffeine-fueled brainstorms), but every challenge has helped us get better and stronger.

Shoutout to Our Small Business Community

One of the best parts of running this business? The friendships and partnerships we’ve built with other small businesses. Whether we’re teaming up on a training, meeting up at a conference, or just cheering each other on in the DMs, that small business energy is unmatched.

We truly believe community over competition is the way to go—and we’re so lucky to be part of one that lifts each other up.

Making It Past the 5-Year Mark 🙌

Here’s a wild stat: only about 50% of small businesses make it past 5 years. So the fact that we’re still here (and thriving!) is something we’re incredibly proud of.

What sets long-lasting businesses apart? The research points to things like staying flexible, really knowing your customers, and managing your money wisely. For us, it's been all that—and so much more. We've leaned into our Core Values, committed to being lifelong learners, and embraced opportunities like our Salesforce Partnership and OKR Certifications to stay sharp and forward-thinking. Starting to adopt The Product Operating Model has helped us deliver with more clarity and purpose, and we’ve loved inspiring change with our clients along the way. To take it even further, we launched a Community of Practice (COP) within our client organization and built an internal Continuous Improvement group—not just to meet expectations, but to exceed them. We're constantly looking for ways to make the work better, the outcomes stronger, and the client experience exceptional—often before anyone even asks.

To everyone who’s supported us—whether you’ve been here since day one or just found us recently—THANK YOU. This journey wouldn’t be what it is without you. We’re excited for what’s next, and we’re not slowing down anytime soon.
