Hitting Pause to Look Ahead: Springbach’s 2025 Team Offsite
Last week, our Springbach team swapped laptops for ocean views and spent a few days in the Outer Banks. We don’t get to be together in person often, which made this time extra special. It was the kind of trip that reminded us how important it is to pause, step back from the day-to-day, and think about what’s next together.

The Main Event
We started by grounding ourselves in what’s brought us here and reflecting on the growth we’ve experienced, the clients we’re lucky to partner with, and the momentum we’ve built as a team. Then we turned our attention forward, diving into conversations about Springbach’s vision and how the Product Operating Model continues to shape what’s ahead.
Of course, no Springbach offsite would be complete without a little fun (and a few surprises). In true Richard fashion, he lightened things up with a Grammar Rock moment that somehow turned Schoolhouse Rock into team training. Shelley followed with a hands-on Product Development Lifecycle workshop, and we closed with a StrengthsFinder debrief that helped us celebrate what makes each of us unique and how our differences make us stronger together.

The Fun Event
Outside of the working sessions, the time together was just as meaningful. We explored on a wild horse tour (thank you, tour guide Mike!), shared incredible food (Chef Pok’s dinner was legendary), and spent long stretches just talking about work, life, and everything in between.
By the end, we left a little tired, a lot inspired, and more connected than ever. Because the best strategy sessions don’t always happen in conference rooms. Sometimes they happen with pizza boxes on the counter, dogs wandering between laps, and the sound of the ocean in the background.
Here’s to what’s next for Springbach and to making space to pause, reconnect, and dream big together.
