Springbach is Eight!
We celebrated Springbach’s 8th birthday on June 5th! 🎉
This is a huge milestone, because according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor and Statistics data cited in this Commerce Institute article, about half of small businesses don’t survive past the five year mark, and the odds of failure increase every year after that. So today, we’re taking a beat to celebrate, reminisce on how we got started, and revel in some incredible feedback we got from a few of our partners and clients when they were asked, “What was the best thing about working with Springbach?”. We’re especially proud of these comments because they reflect our five core values – values we try to instill in every project we work on: lifelong learning, collaboration, honesty/transparency, having fun, and inspiring change.
We’re going to let these comments speak for themselves while we go eat a piece of celebratory birthday cake. Thank you to everyone we’ve partnered with and worked with over the years – you’ve made Springbach what it is today. 🎂🧡
“Our partners at Springbach are always on top of their game. Clearly communicating expectations, holding internal and external owners responsible for deliverables, and putting finishing touches on the teams work. Included in the process is organized knowledge transfers when we have turnover, new team member introductions, consistent recognition of team wins, and best of all Fun Fridays! (Team activity to help loosen things up, get to know each other a little better, and celebrate milestones.) Each member of the Springbach partner comes with a consistent professional approach to the Team while not losing the importance of the individual.”
“Happy birthday to Springbach! Honestly, working with Springbach was one of the most impactful engagements I’ve had [at Great Dane]. What stood out was how you helped our teams actually talk to each other — breaking down silos that had been there a long time, bringing stakeholders into the process much earlier, and getting buy-in on planning instead of just announcing decisions after the fact. The work was more collaborative and better informed for it.”
“Wow, eight years, seems like yesterday we were on calls and trying to make things better. I really liked that approach: trying to understand the problem or why things were not getting better and then working together to see if we could move the needle. The partnership was great, the understanding was great and lastly was the comradery – that was the glue that held it all together. Argue or not, agree or not, it was a shared understanding and desire to leave things better (as much as we could). I hope Springbach has at least another 8!”
“What I appreciated most about working with Springbach was their ability to meet our team where we were in our agile journey and tailor their training and coaching to fit our needs. Since this was a unique situation, working with a marketing team, I really valued their flexibility and willingness to adjust their approach while still staying true to the core methodology. I also loved their interactive and creative training style. It kept our team engaged with hands-on exercises and activities that made it easier to connect the methodology to real, everyday work. I’ve had the chance to work with several members of the Springbach team, and they’re all incredibly respectful of people and their time. They do a great job of recognizing and building on individual strengths, while also emphasizing continuous improvement and transparency, both of which had a big impact on how we work. They’ve become great mentors to me, and I’ve genuinely enjoyed learning from them and the time we’ve spent working together.”
And of course, we can’t forget our team members we’ve worked with throughout the years. We love the people we’ve gotten to work with!
