Pre-Requisites: Experience with Scrum and a list of Features

This workshop is a deeper dive of the Project Prioritization Workshop.  In this course we explore prioritization techniques more in-depth using a simulation, and more time is spent defining enough features to create a draft 30-week roadmap to be validated after the first program increment. In addition we define your Program Kanban (states, activities, entry/exit criteria, responsibilities, meeting cadences).

Learning Objectives:

  1. Understand systems-thinking  

  2. Learn economic framework for prioritization

  3. Experiment with Program level prioritization and road mapping via a simulation

  4. Understand roles & responsibilities involved in establishing and managing the Program Backlog

  5. Define your solution through a Program Epic

  6. Beak down the solution into Features & Enablers

  7. Build your Program Kanban
